this song flows with a soulful warmth and bittersweet nostalgia, carrying the weight of heartache wrapped in comfort. It’s a steady, heartfelt rhythm that lingers, weaving stories of love and loss. This piece reflects the timeless spirit of the track, a tender balance of longing and resilience.

My synesthetic experience listening to Ashley McBryde’s album ‘The Devil I Know’ was a multisensory explosion where my senses intertwined into beautiful symphonies of colors, flashes of lights, patterns, emotions, & landscapes.

In my studio, surrounded by the melodies of the ninth track “Whiskey and Country Music”, I dove into a canvas of swirling reds in dark and bright tones, movement a guitar with abstract glitter resembling whiskey and ice. Embodies the song’s smooth melodies and comforting lyrics, creating a warm and harmonious visual experience.

The music guides my brush, conjuring a painting that captures the essence of the song’s energy and rhythm. Each note finds its visual counterpart, creating a mesmerizing dance of colors and emotions.
