ALBUM COVER ART synesthesia painting inspired by @wigwagofficial debut album
 
Painting this felt like stepping into sound that shifts between dimensions. My synesthetic experience listening to Wig Wag’s debut album translated into a psychedelic palette that mirrors the ethereal, high-energy texture of their music, where intensity and atmosphere continuously fold into one another.
 
The composition is built in three distinct visual layers, each revealing a different emotional state depending on the light: natural light, ultraviolet/blacklight, and glow-in-the-dark. Together, they create a dynamic experience that feels alive, constantly changing as the environment shifts around it.
 
Woven throughout the piece is the requested wig wag pattern, integrated as a rhythmic structure within the composition. it becomes a visual translation of the music itself; fluid, interlocking, and responsive, echoing the interplay of instruments and the layered complexity of the sound.
